ALS to Exhibit at WMSoc Conference on latest BSi Guidance
Mar 7, 2016
The Water Management Society (WMSoc) will be holding a conference on "The Latest BSi Guidance: Where is your Water Going?" taking place on Wednesday 16th March 2016 at the Society for Chemical Industry (SCI), Belgrave Square, London and ALS Environmental are proud to announce that we will be one of the exhibitors at the event.
The WMSoc conference presents updates on the new BSi guidance's published in 2015 including:
- BS8558 - Guide to the design, installation, testing and maintenance of services supplying water for domestic use within buildings and their curtilages.
- BS8554 - Code of practice for the sampling and monitoring of hot and cold water services in buildings.
- PD855468 - Guide to the flushing and disinfection of services supplying water for domestic use within buildings and their curtilage's.
All three of the above guidance documents require analytical testing and ALS Environmental are able to offer a wealth of additional information by utilising the MALDI-ToF confirmation technique. This approach enables an instant and informative positive confirmation, with ALS holding a market leading database of Legionella bacteria, as well as an extensive portfolio of other bacteria including Enterococci, Coliforms and Stentrophomonas.
The speakers at the "Where is your Water Going?" event are members of the working parties who were instrumental in the drafting of these documents. This conference provides an exceptional opportunity to gain further insight into this guidance and allows delegates to pose questions to the authors.
