As part of this update ALS Environmental will be performing system updates to our registration and reporting modules. This means that we will be unable to send analytical reports between 08:00 and 16:00 on Monday 5th January. All of our customers analytical data will be available via WebTrieve over this period as normal.
Nick Barsby, ALS Environmentals Sales and Marketing Manager who has been leading the Sample Matrix Accreditation project comments:
It is of utmost importance that our customers are aware of the matrix level accreditation and the impact of not providing matrices that appear on our UKAS ISO 17025:2005 accreditation schedule; failure to provide this information will result in your analytical data being unaccredited to UKAS, MCERTS or DWTS. The change in the way we report our matrix accreditation will provide clear and consistent data for our customers.
Our systems will continue to report any "micro notifications" for Legionella or Bacteriological failures as normal and our customer services team will be on hand for any data queries during this time.
If you have any concerns of questions regarding this system update please contact us or call the laboratory on 02476 42 12 13 or your Customer Service Co-Ordinator.
