Enhanced Water Treatment Registration Module
Nov 14, 2014
ALS Environmental have a track record of working in partnership with our clients to develop bespoke solutions in both analysis and reporting. In August ALS Environmental began work on building a customised registration and reporting module within our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The addition of the Water Treatment module to our LIMS has been combined with an update to our online reporting system, WebTrieve.
The improved Water Treatment registration and reporting module allows for the following information to be added to the ALS Environmental reports:
- Site / Area
- Room / Position
- Floor / Level
- Zone / Sub-Area
- Asset Type
- Instance / Occurence of Asset
- Pre / Post Flushing
- Output Type
- Occurence of Output
- Temperature at Sampling
- Chlorine at Sampling
- Risk of Asset (High / Medium / Low)
To ensure that this information is obtained, ALS Environmental are able to provide a specific Chain of Custody for our Water Treatment customers. The enhanced Chain of Custody has additional fields to allow clients to capture more information on the sample description.
Nick Barsby, ALS Environmental's Sales and Marketing Manager, who has over 10 years laboratory experience in both water treatment and contaminated land, comments:
Following significant IT development we are now able to offer customers a comprehensive new registration and reporting module that is fit for purpose for the Water Treatment market. The additional fields will allow our customers to easily demonstrate the impact of any cleaning or flushing programmes with the Pre/Post filter options. We have produced bespoke excel and .pdf formats in addition to all information being available on WebTrieve to allow a range of reporting options to all customers.
All of the new data is visible on our online reporting system, WebTrieve, which has just been updated to detail all of the new Water Treatment information. Furthermore, Webtrieve holds all of our method summaries, analytical reports and enables customers to trend data at an analytical, matrix or asset level which allows customers to demonstrate an effective Water Treatment programme.
If you would like to utilise the new Water Treatment module for your analytical samples please contact your Customer Service Representative or call the laboratory on 02476 42 12 13.
