With Christmas just around the corner ALS Environmental would like to take the opportunity to remind our customers of the laboratory opening times and analytical dates over the festive period. With the impact of Sample Stability a key factor for all of our clients the early planning of analysis over the Christmas period is of utmost importance.

ALS Environmental operate our own network of refrigerated collection vehicles and drop-off locations. The last collection from the ALS Environmental drop-off locations will take place on Tuesday 23^rd December after 18:00.

There will be no collections from the ALS Environmental drop-off locations between Wednesday 24^th December until Friday 2^nd January; with normal service resuming on Monday 5^th January.

Please note that we are operating a skeleton team for sample collections over the Christmas period, therefore prior booking, where possible, is highly recommended.

For any collections between the 24^th December and the 2^nd January please book a collection or call your Customer Service representative to arrange a collection.

To assist customers in making informed decisions on sampling and courier events, the laboratory has produced the Table 1. The table below outlines the days that ALS Environmental will be starting analysis over the festive period taking into account stability constraints and analytical operational processes around the holidays:

*** Yellow dates will require the samples to be at the laboratory prior to 13:00 for the analysis to be undertaken within stability times. Our Customer Service team will be avaialbe until atleast 15:00 on these dates}

For customers who require analytical reports before Christmas then the last sample submission dates for analysis for some key parameters are outlined in Table 2. If you require more details about a particular analytical test that is not listed please contact the laboratory on 02476 42 12 13 and your query will be dealt with by our Customer Service team.
