ALS Environmental are pleased to announce the UKAS accreditation to ISO17025 and the Drinking Water Testing specification (DWTS) of a new Taste and Odour laboratory at our Coventry laboratory location.

The new laboratory will increase our capacity and capability in this area, and replicates our existing Taste and Odour facilities at our Wakefield laboratory. This extension to scope means that ALS Environmental are one of a select group of laboratories who are able to offer complete accredited analytical solutions including sampling, analysis and reporting to the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) standard, now across multiple locations.

Extension to our Taste and Odour services will provide additional Business resilience for this important Drinking Water parameter, with two accredited sites undertaking this analysis. Geographical locations have been specifically selected to achieve analysis within the required, published stability times.

To maximise efficiency, some samples will move to the Coventry laboratory to provide enhanced results management and reporting.
