ALS to Exhibit at Borehole Users Conference 2016
Oct 20, 2016
The Borehole Users Conference (BHUC) is an annual event aimed at anyone who uses, manages, owns or plans to develop a private water supply. The conference brings together all aspects of the supply chain and ALS Environmental will be exhibiting at the event taking place at the Jurys Inn, East Midlands Airport on Wednesday 26th October 2016.
The BHUC will explore the importance of understanding where the water pumped from a borehole comes from. Understanding and defining catchments is an important aspect of managing and protecting your asset. ALS Environmental will be on hand to discuss any water testing requirements delegates may have. The conference will be supported with practical information and knowledge of the operation and selection of pumps and understanding the power requirements, control and efficiency of pumped systems.

ALS Environmental are able to support any testing project, either large or small, from our Wakefield testing laboratory which is our European Centre of Excellence for Drinking Water analysis. The laboratory holds Drinking Water Testing Specification (DWTS) for the analysis of Drinking Waters; and our field service team are able to provide support with DWTS accredited sampling services.
To provide additional assurance to our customers, ALS will report any Drinking Water analysis against the Prescribed Concentration or Values limits as set out by law in the UK to help customers highlight any potential contamination of their supplies.

The full list of PCV Limits can be compared against the ALS Environmental limits of detection on our new handy comparison table. The table has been designed to be a quick reference guide to our customers to allow them to, at a glance, understand the limits across the United Kingdom and ALS Environmental's capability in this sector.
Representing ALS Environmental at the BHUC will be two members of our Business Development Team, Mark Aristidou and Talvinder Chohan who comment:
The BHUC is a unique event and brings together all of the key stakeholders in the extraction of water from Boreholes. ALS have supported this event for the last few years and it is one of the few conferences that bring together a range of delegates involved in the supply of Private Water Supplies.
This is the 3rd successive year that ALS have supported the BHUC and the event looks to grow on the success of last year by including the British Soft Drinks Association workshop on bottled waters taking place at the BHUC as a separate workshop in the afternoon.
