In addition to instant & informative confirmations ALS have also invested heavily in our library of species within our MALDI-ToF, due to this we are able to offer a full ESKAPE pathogens suite. The rise of these antibiotic resistant bacteria has become a real challenge in nosocomial establishments and for years the cost of analysis for such a suite was always deemed too expensive, with concerns over the confirmation approach being raised. The MALDI-ToF, along with all of the accreditation associated, gives customers a greater level of confidence in the analytical data provided by ALS and had also made the testing suite much more affordable.
