ALS Environmental Increase Sample Drop-Off Locations

ALS Environmental are pleased to announce the opening of three new drop-off locations in Chelmsford, Dunstable and Leicester from Monday 10th April 2017, which is the first phase of the drop-off enhancements planned for 2017. This development forms part of our ongoing commitment to improve logistical solutions for our customers and reduce our Carbon Footprint.
ALS Environmental have a broad portfolio of strategically placed drop-off locations and laboratories situated throughout the UK and a service centre in Dublin. Our drop-off locations can be found by using our online Postcode Finder service, which will enable clients to find their nearest ALS facility and drop-off location. This service is available on most smart phones, making the process simple and accessible for sampling engineers on the move.

ALS Environmental's portfolio of drop-off locations is now at 27 strategically based facilities, predominantly around England and Wales. The drop-off facilities are open between 08:00 - 18:00 Monday - Friday, ALS Environmental then collect the samples every weekday evening (specific collection times can be found here) using our in-house refrigerated collection vehicles. Samples are registered at our Coventry laboratory prior to commencing analysis the following morning. The drop-offs assist our clients in complying with stability times as well as providing more flexibility to our customers.

These additional locations are just a small part of an ongoing review of our logistical offering at ALS. Our aim is to provide total laboratory solutions to all of our customers and by increasing our drop-off portfolio we are enhancing our national coverage.
